“Magic is in the ritual of our everyday experience. It’s the conversation we have with our truest self. It’s the Bowerbird adorning its nest with intentional color. There is magic in every day, and we hold magic within us. How will you bring it to life?”
Hi! I’m Stephanie (she/her) - and I am a self-proclaimed maximalist.

I love scouring thrift stores and vintage markets for treasures. When I was younger, I would literally hang artwork floor to ceiling on every single wall of my room. I have a little better self control now, but even so, I truly believe that surrounding yourself with the things you love is one of the greatest joys of the modern world.
I’m also obsessed with organization. I’ve only recently realized that it’s maybe not super normal to go to a friend’s house and beg them to let you help them organize their closet. I’ve always loved organizing and re-arranging my own things, and I jump at the chance to help others re-energize their own belongings.
Through organization and ritual, I help people create intentional spaces so they can thrive. I believe stewarding your own space can help you to feel more deeply rooted and in reciprocity with the earth.
When I’m not wearing my designer hat, you can find me working in my garden, cuddling with my two cats, playing the banjo, or doing any number of craft projects (right now it’s knitting and learning to weave!)
Inclusion, equity, and diversity are important parts of the Bowerbird Atelier brand and we are committed to creating a space where everyone feels safe and welcome. We are constantly working towards being more inclusive with our language, design process, and overall approach. We support the Black Lives Matter Movement, Land Back Movement, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC folx and are actively working to learn more about anti-racism and racial justice work, as well as consistently supporting and donating to local organizations.
Some of the organizations we actively support include:
Sogorea Te’ Land Trust | Planting Justice | Planned Parenthood
The Atelier
I am lucky to live in the gorgeous Bay Area, and I work out of my home studio on occupied Chochenyo Ohlone land in Oakland, California. I conceive, design and produce everything I make in this inspiring space and I love to spend time creating in the garden.
