A Heritage-Inspired Monogram
Katy + Kevin wanted vintage-inspired invitations that incorporated a monogram reflecting their Chinese heritage. I was so honored to create this heart-shaped monogram for their invitations, which was inspired by the Chinese symbol for double happiness.
An Escort Board that Makes a Statement
For their escort display, K+K wanted a sign that would make a huge impact at the cocktail hour, and would be the main display of their wedding monogram. I crafted this large hand-stained wood panel that stood 6ft high, and hand-painted their monogram at the top. The escort cards hung in neat rows below the monogram for guests to find their seats, and small icons indicated their meal choices.
Bridging the Stationery Materials
Since the wood escort board made such a huge impact at cocktail hour, we decided to incorporate that material onto the dinner tables with hand-painted table numbers. Menus were digitally printed and displayed upright in the center of the table, and each guests favor was a hand-stamped bag incorporating the monogram, and filled with K+K’s favorite coffee beans. Yum!
