The ceanothus silkmoth (Hyalophora euyalus) is a moth native to the west coast of North America with a 4” wingspan! While they don’t exclusively rely on Ceanothus as their host plant, their namesake sure does color coordinate with their beautiful wing pattern pretty darn well.
